Description
An Introduction to Islamiyat—History, Beliefs, and Practices is a new textbook for the Cambridge O Level and IGCSE Islamiyat syllabuses 2058 and 0493, Papers 1 and 2.
The book’s content, divided into Part One and Part Two, follows the sequence of the syllabus topics of Papers 1 and 2, respectively, and has been developed to meet the teaching and assessment requirements at this level. The objective is to provide students the opportunity to prepare for success in the examinations as well as to know more about the subject.
The explanations and purpose of the selected Quranic passages and Ahadith, and the early history of Islam are presented in an interesting and appealing style. Images and maps have been used appropriately to support the text.
A Revision Guide by the same author supports the textbook topic by topic, albeit briefly, focusing only on the main features. Questions from past papers are given at the end of each chapter of the Revision Guide for examination practice.
